| Question: Player A plays Shuten Dojis Fury targeting three heros of player B. Can player B play Take the Charge to redirect the action to one of the other originally targets and thus change the number of targets for the action?
How would the situation be, if a samurai and a shugenja are together in an army and targeted by SDF. Could I play Turn of Fortune to have only one of then bowed? Answer: Player A plays Shuten Dojis Fury targeting three heros of player B. Can player B play Take the Charge to redirect the action to one of the other originally targets and thus change the number of targets for the action?
Take the Charge says, "Heroic Reaction: When a Battle action would target one of your Personalities: The action instead targets another legal Hero Personality of your choice that you control."
Shuten Doji's Fury can not target the same Personality more than once. So a Hero Personality who is already Target B could not qualify as "another legal Hero Personality" for the purposes of being Target C.
Also, remember that targeting another legal target is the exception to the regular rules about "instead."

So unless you can find a legal Hero Personality who was not one of the original 3 targets of Shuten Doji's Fury, you can't get anywhere with Take the Charge.
The same thing goes for Turn of Fortune.

| Question:I have in play Utaku Genshi and Utaku Kohana, and my opponent has Shosuro Aroru (experienced) in play. Bowing my Genshi, I play Sake House Brawl, declaring Aroru and my Kohana as targets. My question is: since Sake House Brawl specifies different players, will he be able to redirect Sake House Brawl to Kohana? Sake House Brawl Open: Bow one or more of your target Personalities: Bow one or more target Personalities, each controlled by a different player, with a total Force less than that of your performing Personalities. Shosuro Aroru (Experienced) Scorpion Clan • Ninja • Duelist • Experienced • Unique Reaction: When an action targets a Ninja at Aroru's location: It targets a different legal target of your choice instead. Reaction: Any number of times per turn, after another player's Battle action resolves: Move Aroru to any location. Answer: Aroru gets bowed in this situation. You are going to target 2 Personalities, each controlled by another player. The targeting of Aroru can not be redirected to Kohana as she does not qualify as a "different legal target of your choice," because she's already in the scope of the initial targeting and it is not legal to target her twice in such a way. This is very similar to Shuten Doji's Fury vs. Take the ChargeA single card can only be targeted once by any individual targeting instruction. | |

| Question:Battle: For each different clan alignment on Personalities in the current enemy army, target one card without attached Follwers in that army. Bow all targets.
Are all targets of Dissent announced at the same time? And do they need to be different targets? Situation:
Player A has 2 different Clan Alignemnts in his army. Player B plays Dissent. Player A plays Misdirection.
Can Player A decide to target the same card twice? Answer: They are all chosen at once. You can not target any card more than once with this targeting.

| Example lang po: If they said consecutive range attacks let us say 2 targets will get hit or get killed by those 2 consecutive range attacks, what if you used misdirection? How will you resolve this situation po? can you use only one card for misdirecting both effects? or just one lang po? Is this question valid in this thread? Sorry po kung off-topic... | |
