"We on the Design Team like to think that we have done a good job with Samurai Edition. Samurai, for many, is the best, most interactive arc in the history of the game. I am one of those people. Even in a great arc like Samurai, however, some problem cards are bound to crop up. Most of these cards are ok as they are an annoyance, but are not game breaking. However, one card breaks the rules we have set forth for Samurai Edition, and has had a significant and detrimental impact on the game. We on the Design Team have discussed this for some time and have concluded the best way to handle this is through errata. So, effective Monday, March 31st, Shosuro Adeiko's ability will be changed to the following text:

Reaction: After a battle resolution or another player's trait or action resolves, if its effects destroyed a Personality at Adeiko's location (including Adeiko): Give a target Personality a -3F/-1C token, and an additional -1C token if he is dishonorable.

Adeiko's printed version simply goes against the grain of Samurai Edition to a point that we feel errata is necessary. I think most of you would agree that Samurai Edition is a well balanced and enjoyable environment, and we have faith that this erratum will only help our cause. Thank you for playing our game and we hope you will continue to be a part of the greatest card game in the world."
